We’ve a short turnaround on this one, it can get full pretty quickly so don’t delay your entry !

Just to remind everyone, the Summer Sizzler is still open for entries.

It’s a 1 day event on Sunday 1 June 2025 and we would love to have a large team compete, like recently at the BCM weekend.

All swimmers must be – ‘Swim to Compete’ to enter, you can upgrade your club membership at any time throughout the year.

The closing date is – 4 May 2025, which is fast approaching.

ORCA will be hosting a sprint session on Saturday 7 June 2025, a similar event to our Christmas Club Champs, just without the Santa hats.

It’s a flat fee of £6.00, regardless of how many races are entered.

We want to see as many ORCA swimmers in the pool as possible.

What does a club captain do ?

They are responsible for fostering a positive team culture and helping to organize and motivate team members.

They may also help the coach lead the team in a warmup or run a team meeting.

In addition, swim captains often serve as a liaison between the coach and the rest of the team, helping to communicate important information and ensure everyone is on the same page.

Ultimately, the goal of a captain is to help the team succeed both in and out of the pool.
