🎆 We are hosting a Friendly Gala on Monday 26 January – 6.45pm 🎆
All invites have been sent to the selected swimmers for this meet. Please accept or decline in Swim Manager. If using the app please go to the Teams tab and the invite is there. ☑️
🏊♀️ There will be NO regular training on this night, if you haven’t been selected to race then please pick up another session in the week before or week after. 🏊♀️
We do need some helpers and some scorers, if anyone is available, please get in touch 💬
Entries are now open for the GALA – BCM SWPA Spring Meet 2026.
The BCM Spring Meet will take place over the weekend of the 14 & 15 March 2026 at Wigan Life Centre.
To take part in this gala a swimmer has to be 9 years old or over at midnight on 15 March 2026.
When entering this gala please make sure to enter a time for each event. If the swimmer does not have an official time you can ask one of the coaches at training for a time.
Please beware if this gala is over subscribed swimmers with estimated times or unofficial times will likely be rejected first.
Also when looking at the upper time limits please beware that swimmers can not have swam faster than the stated upper time limit to enter that race.
This is an idea gala for swimmers to enter into competitive swimming.
You will also need a Swim England “Swim to Compete” membership.
If you have a “Swim to Train” membership this will need to be upgraded so that you can take part.

Dear Swimmers/Parents
As we look ahead to the new year, we want to update you on our training fees for 2026, which will come into effect from 1 January 2026.
Over the past year we have worked hard to keep costs as low as possible, but increases in pool hire costs and operational costs mean we need to make small adjustments to ensure the club can continue providing high-quality, safe and well-supported training sessions for all swimmers.
The updated monthly fees for each group and training frequency are shown below:
✔ Fees remain competitive compared with other local clubs
✔ All money goes directly back into coaching, pool time and running the club
✔ We continue to offer flexible training options to suit each swimmer
Thank you for your continued support and for being part of the ORCA family.
We look forward to another fantastic year of progress, confidence-building and achievements in the pool.
